At IPSS, we often work in multidisciplinary teams and our Mechanical Engineers are an indispensable part of those teams. The creative and problem-solving capabilities of our mechanical engineering experts add value during all phases of the design process. Our employees are skilled in calculating the strength or lifespan, in designing and analysing installations, systems and constructions. For example, for (pressure) vessels, heat exchangers, reactors or gas and liquid separators. We detail your (draft) design in a 3D model, resulting in construction drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and other related documents.
Our Mechanical Engineers can interpret process systems, perform strength calculations (e.g. FEM, pipe stress) and design pressure vessels and piping systems. Obviously in accordance with applicable standards and statutory regulations (including ASME VIII, B31.3, EN 13445 and EN 13480).
We have extensive experience with software packages such as PV Elite, SolidWorks, Autodesk 3D Plant, Inventor and AutoCAD. Projects are mostly related to Research & Development for the bio-based and food sectors and the petrochemical industry.
